Comedy Night 2013 was a HUGE Success!

And it was all because of the people involved.

It was a night to remember with our host, Carrie Doll from CTV, Verto Grad Rachel Stuart, artist Lewis Lavoie and one of the reasons you were all there; comedians Kevin Stobo and Trent McClellan. We all had a great time and as our guests and supporters you kept your wallets at hand to help us raise over $50,000 at the event and with our new monthly donors the amount of support YOUCAN will receive annually that total went up to over $76,000.

Thank you to everyone who came out to not only enjoy the evening but spend a little money on raffles, auctions and our cash bar in support of our programs. There are some special thanks that we have to do:

We were excited to have so many draws, here is the list of winners and their prizes:

The winner of the 50/50 draw, winning $682 dollars was Katrina Nibourg.

The winner of the Oilers Press Box Experience raffle item was Stacy Grindle.

Our smaller raffles and their winners are:

  • Lucky Lady package was won by Murray
  • Entertained in Edmonton package was won by Connie Dube

The winner of a last minute draw of new monthly donor, winning a 2 night stay with cheese and wine tasting and continental breakfast at the Matrix hotel was the Mattiello Family.
