Gracie Jane Genereux is a beloved, renowned mixed media artist and owner of Gracie Jane's Art Gallery and Lounge in downtown St. Albert. She began her career by working in the cocktail business for a number of years, taking art classes on the side, before opening Gracie Jane’s Wearable Art Store in the late ’80s. Unfortunately circumstances forced the store to close after several years. Genereux then decided to combine both of her passions - bartending and art - into a single enterprise.
With a resolute passion for art and bartending, she realized her dream by opening a captivating establishment adorned with her vibrant artwork. Inspired by pop culture and icons, her fusion of themes and styles showcases celebrity portraits alongside 99 bottles of wine, including a bejeweled wine bar. From bartender to artist, Gracie Jane's relentless pursuit led her to overcome challenges, including a battle with cancer, as she built a beloved community hub where art, drinks, and camaraderie thrive.
