Phil Alain is a renowned painter and artist based in Edmonton. Phil embarked on his artistic journey at the young age of 13 in St. Albert, and later pursued his passion at the University of Alberta in the esteemed B.F. Program. He also honed his skills at the Fine Arts Program at Grande Prairie Regional College.
In 1997, Phil conceptualized and brought to life his own arts event, aptly named ‘Night of Artists.’ Over the years this event has grown into a significant platform for showcasing national artist talent. In 2003, Phil took his artistic vision a step further by founding the esteemed ‘NOA Magazine,’ a national arts magazine dedicated to ‘Night of Artists.’ With his unwavering dedication to promoting art, Phil has successfully organized over 400 national art exhibitions and mural projects since 1997, earning him international recognition for his contributions to the art world. Beyond his artistic endeavours, Phil is also a compassionate humanitarian.
He is the visionary behind ‘Amy’s House,’ a comforting home away from home for cancer patients who have to travel long distances of over 100 kilometers to seek medical treatments. Phil’s philanthropic efforts have touched the lives of many, providing solace and support to those on their cancer journey.
