About Darnell Whittaker

Darnell started his career in 2016 after graduating with his Bachelors Degree in Child and Youth Care. Over the years he has had different roles when it comes to working with youth; starting in group homes for high risk youth, for a number of years and eventually making his way to YOUCAN. He has held a couple different roles at the agency from Relentless Outreach, Transitional Outreach and now Facilitating for the VERTO program. His favourite part about working with the VERTO youth is seeing the transformation that happens over the weeks in addition to helping them to see their full potential. He truly believes that, with the right support, people are capable of achieving anything they put there minds to.
