About Katie Kitschke

Katie Kitschke was born and raised in Sherwood Park and continues to lives there with her family. She has a degree in Criminology and has worked in leadership roles at various agencies over the last 20 years. Her most recent experience prior to joining the YOUCAN team, was working as Senior Director of Affordable Housing and Property Management at The Mustard Seed in Edmonton from 2022 to 2024. Previous to The Mustard Seed, Katie was in the role of Executive Director at SAFFRON Sexual Assault Centre in Sherwood Park and worked there for 14 years. In the role of Executive Director, Katie is passionate about the RELENTLESS, proactive and life changing work that YOUCAN does in the community and looks forward to engaging with more employment and non profit partners and continue to enhance the growth of the agency. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Obie and doing hot yoga.
